Thank you to former Saranac Community Schools Nurse, Karah Smith, and Saranac first-responder and SERC Founder, Kevin McGraw, for organizing our second annual CPR and AED training session and first-responder job fair for SJSH seniors.
Members of the Saranac Fire Department, Life EMS, the Ionia County Sheriff's Office, and Nurse Karah trained our senior class in CPR and AED usage, shared details of their jobs, and demonstrated equipment and vehicles to the students.
Some of these volunteers will return in May to train all of our freshmen, as well. Thank you so much to these professionals for their time and effort helping keep our kids and community safe!
