Last Friday, nearly one quarter of the JSH students and a number of staff members and parents participated in the Polar Plunge Slide 'N Slide Extravaganza to promote awareness of inclusion in school settings. This event was the capstone to a number of activities throughout March to promote inclusion. It was originally scheduled for March 22nd, but was rescheduled due to the snow day (which would have truly made it polar)! Thank you to staff members Jennifer Johnson, Mariah Slaughter, and Amber Hubbard, as well as our Peer-2-Peer students, who organized the event.
