Saranac Community Schools

Mr. Winsor, JSH science teacher, and Mrs. Thomas, elementary teacher, and their students spent the afternoon today at the Saranac boat launch. The primary goal was to release salmon that the classes have been raising all year. Students also collected water samples and will study life in the samples. While there, the kids also helped clean up some trash and debris from the shoreline and sounding area. A few even took advantage of the warm weather and took an unscheduled swim. Even though the air was warm, the water certainly was not!
