Congrats to our Cross Country teams! Women took 7th in the Regional, with Madeleine Hill earning 4th and making it to State! Men took 2nd, they also advance to State. Congrats to Nathan Day for taking 4th overall. See you at the MHSAA State meet. Details will be shared soon.

Post-season action
Boys and Girls Cross-Country will compete in Regionals this Saturday in Allendale. Start time for Saranac will be approximately 10:00 am. Good Luck Runners!!!!


The Saranac HS Band took 5th place in Class D this past Saturday at the East Kentwood Marching Band Competition, just 3 points shy of 3rd. The band received awards of excellence in music, marching, percussion, and color guard. The color guard also finished 3rd overall in Class D.

Last night the cross country teams competed in their last CMAC meet. Our young middle school girl's team placed third and our middle school s boy's placed second, just edging out Bath. Earning medals were Lydia Rasmus, Kaytlyn Day, Sawyer VanKuiken, Logan Gregory, Theo VanKuiken, and Brady Oosterhouse.
Our high school women’s team edged out Laingsburg to take second place. Honorable mention went to Sadie Trahan and 1st Team All-Conference went to Alyssa Possehn and Madeleine Hill. Madeleine won the CMAC! Congrats to her!
Our high school men's team took first! Honorable mention went to Ben Sluiter. 2nd team All-Conference went to Evan Johnson, Hunter Helminski, Evan Oosterhouse. 1st Team All-Conference went to Elijah Powell and Nathan Day.

Saranac Community Schools is proud of all our cross-country runners from their performance Saturday, brought back two trophies and a good number of medals. Great performances all around !!

Our very own colleague and friend Beth Kelly has artwork presented at Art Prize this year. Beth has talents beyond belief and the artwork is simply phenomenal. Ms. Kelly has had such a positive impact on so many students and continues to be a true blessing to the district. Saranac Community Schools is so very proud of Ms. Beth Kelly.
